Each beneficiary, i.e. an independent legal entity participating in the project as consortium partner, can cover the role of only one type of practitioner. The proposal will have to indicate clearly which type of practitioners the entity represents. Clarifications on the type of practitioners required in the topic related additional eligibility conditions: Police Authority : In the context of the Work Programme, a Police Authority is a legal entity explicitly designated by national law, or legally mandated by the competent national authority, for the prevention, detection and/or investigation of terrorist offences or other criminal offences, specifically excluding police academies, forensic institutes, training facilities as well as border and customs authorities. Civil Society Organisation, CSO (or Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO) : In the context of the Work Programme, a civil society organisation is typically an entity whose members serve the general interest through a democratic process, and which plays the role of mediator between public authorities and citizens.
